Pollination by Moths Is Critical for Summer Fruits
Bee America
While we're all about bees here at Bee America, we need to give a shout-out to moths and their critical role in pollinating wild and crop plants. Turns out that they're vitally important in pollinating many of our favorite summer fruits including strawberries, peaches, nectarines and plums. Unfortunately, moth populations have drastically declined in the past 50 years, so it's vital to support their conservation in order to help maintain a healthy environment.
